Ashley Young trains with Man City stars in Dubai ahead of return to pre-season

Manchester United's Ashley Young is keeping up his fitness ahead of the return to pre-season.

Young has jetted out to Dubai for an end-of-season break but is not letting his levels dip by making a visit to Crank fitness studio.

The 33-year-old took part in a spinning session on Tuesday - and was joined by two familiar faces.

Crank uploaded snaps of the rival cyclists, featuring Young and Manchester City pair Leroy Sane and Ilkay Gundogan.

The caption read: "Extra time at CRANK with Manchester United Vs Man City. Thanks Ashley Young, Leroy Sane and Ilkay Gundogan for RIDING with us last night and reaching some new kind of goals."

Young, who was United's captain for most of last term, has been linked with a big-money move to the States in recent weeks.

MLS side DC United are said to be keen on Young, who could reunite with former teammate Wayne Rooney.

Young signed a one-year contract extension in February but could lose his place next term if United manage to land Crystal Palace right-back Aaron Wan-Bissaka.

United's players are set to return to pre-season training in the first week of July, with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer keen to improve their fitness levels.

Meanwhile, City have reportedly rejected a stunning offer from Bayern Munich for Leroy Sane.

The German champions have made Sane their No.1 target after he lost his place in the City line-up towards the end of last season.

City are open to a deal at the right price but the Guardian claims they have turned down an initial offer worth a staggering £70m.
