The High School Musical actress, 35, shared the news she's expecting her first born with her husband of six years Christopher French.
Speechless, the bombshell let the pictures do the talking when she posted pictures of her growing baby bump.
Both of them dressed in white when they staged the photo shoot to announce their baby joy in their garden.
They shared a slew of photographs from their happy afternoon together.
Ashley and Christopher have been married for six years since they tied the knot in a private ceremony in Santa Barbara, California in 2014.
They were engaged for a year after Christopher got down on one knee in 2013.
It was something of a whirlwind as the couple had only been dating for one year.
Last year, Ashley had said the couple weren't in a rush to have children.
She said in July last year: “Whether you’re traveling or you have work or education or you’re married and not ready to have a kid yet, there are options out there...
“For me, it’s like, it’s OK to not want to start a family right away.
"People are always asking me about that, but it’s just not the right time. And I have options out there.”
Ashley rocketed to new heights of fame as the character of Sharpay Evans in the High School Musical movies.
The first of the High School Musical films was released in 2006.
She first found a taste for fame as a Disney Channel star.
