Ashley 'Minnie' Ross death: Little Women Atlanta star dies aged 34 in hit-and-run

Ashley “Minnie” Ross, the star of Little Women Atlanta, has died aged 34 in a hit-and run car accident.

“It is with profound sadness that we confirm on behalf of the family of Ashley Ross aka ‘Ms Minnie’ of Little Women Atlanta that she has succumbed to injuries from a tragic hit and run car accident today, April 27th at the age of 34,” her management told People magazine.

“The family respectfully asks for their privacy as they grieve during this very difficult time.”

Little Women Atlanta is a popular series on Lifetime in the US; it follows “the adventures of sassy women living in Atlanta”.

According to the broadcaster, “these ladies truly embody the spirit of the Southern city with their big hearts, big minds and even bigger personalities. People often stare when these women walk into a room, but it’s not because they’re little, it’s because they can command it like no one else.”

Ross was a Tennessee-born hair stylist. Speaking about Little Women, she previously told MadameNoire: “I wanted to be part of this movement because I want everyone to see our point of view in life. I want people to, you know, see what we go through.

“The everyday struggle that little people go through in life. When people say the struggle is real? It’s real. We go through hell and back.”

Ross had been dating music producer Slickbeatz since 2019. He wrote on his Instagram account: “The moment I saw you, I just knew it. I realised that you are all that I have been searching for all my life.

“I love you today, I love you tomorrow and I will love you the same 10 years from now. Ima miss you baby girl, love of my life.”
