Ashley Jensen has found love with fellow actor Kenny Doughty according to reports and after photos emerged of the pair holding hands.
The 51-year-old Scottish actress and 46-year-old actor Kenny worked together in the past on the BBC drama Love, Lies and Records and were spotted out together in Bath on Thursday night.
The pair looked relaxed in each other’s company and were spotted hand in hand as they walked the streets of the historic English city.
The cute snaps come four years after Ashley’s late husband, Terence Beesley, tragically took his own life at the age of 60-years-old.
The Sun published photos of Ashley and Kenny out in public together and report that the pair grew close this summer.
A source told the publication: “Ashley and Kenny have been friends for some time, and he has been an immense support to her in the past few years.
“They make a lovely couple, and all their friends are absolutely delighted for them.
“Ashley is both a wonderful actress and person — and she deserves this second chance at happiness.”
Ashley and Terence met in the 1990s after working together in a stage production of King Lear and went on to get married in 2007 and welcome a son together in 2009.
The star was left devastated when Terence – who had starred in The Bill – took his own life and she found his body at their family home in Somerset.
Ashley told the inquest into Terence’s death in 2018: “I was extremely shocked by what happened that night and I will never ever forget it.
"Terry and I had been together for 18 years but I had no idea he was capable of what he did."
The pair had tied-the-knot in America when Ashley was working there on smash US comedy series Ugly Betty.
She has worked on a number of high profile projects – including shows with Ricky Gervais including Extras and his current Netflix show After Life.
