Ashley Cole has given his assessment of the Champions League race involving two of his former sides - and Chelsea fans will love his reaction.
The former England defender rose through the ranks at Arsenal before burning his bridges and joining London rivals Chelsea, where he went on to win further honours.
That transfer saga still leaves a sour taste in the mouth of Arsenal fans and Chelsea supporters will consider the full-back a 'true blue' after his exploits in West London.
Any debate to suggest otherwise may now have been put to bed entirely when Cole gave his assessment on the fierce top-four battle currently occurring at the top of the Premier League.
“I think when it’s coming to the top-four, I think it’s tough. I couldn’t put my money on who is going to finish in the top-four, it’s probably out of the top seven,” he told Sky Sports.
“If you’re saying Arsenal are there, then Sheffield United are there. For me it’s too hard to pick but I just hope that Chelsea make it."
That led host Kelly Cates to ask whether he wants Arsenal too as well and Cole sheepishly responded by saying yes - but fellow pundit Jamie Redknapp quipped: "You don't mean that!"
