Ashley Cain has revealed his grandmother has died in a heartbreaking post in which he asks her to look after his baby Azaylia.
The Ex On The Beach star and his partner Safiyya Vorajee tragically lost their little girl aged eight months to leukaemia in April.
Ashley announced he had lost his grandmother with a heartbreaking photo of his Grandma Cain holding baby Azaylia on Instagram.
The caption read: "While I was away I got the devastating news that my Grandma had sadly passed away and joined the angels in paradise.
"Grandma Cain you created a great, strong, successful and respectful family from nothing but hard work, tough love and good blood.
"You will be missed forever by us all.
"Please now look after my little angel in heaven as I know she will be excited to see you again!"
Ashley's heartfelt post was met with a flurry of support including messages from Ex On The Beach's Jess Impiazzi and Eastenders actress Maisie Smith.
Jess wrote: "Sorry for your loss Ash."
While Maisie posted: "I’ll be watching out for the 2 brightest stars tonight."
Maisie and Ashley are both said to have recently filmed the new series of Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins in Amman.
After losing their daughter Ashley and his partner Safiyya set up The Azaylia Foundation to support families who are fundraising for treatments that may not be readily available on the NHS.
The foundation also provides children with memorable experiences as they fight cancer.
Now Peter Andre ’s wife Emily has shared her hopes to work with Azaylia ' s mother Safiyya after the pair formed a close bond at the Daily Mirror’s Pride of Britain Awards.
Mum-of-two Emily spoke about Safiyya’s admirable strength both during her daughter’s battle with cancer and after her heartbreaking passing.
“It was also lovely to meet Azaylia Cain’s mum Safiyya Vorajee,” the NHS doctor told OK! Magazine.
“It was so nice to be able to tell her in person how I have followed her journey. I’ve always admired her strength in sharing Azaylia’s story.

“Hopefully we’ll keep in touch as she’s doing some work with her foundation for Azaylia and I’d love to get involved.”
Safiyya, who looked stunning at the awards wrote: “What an honour to attend The Pride of Britain - the love that was shown for Azaylia by so many really filled me up and touched my heart.
"She really is an inspiration and will always be my hero.
“I spent a lot of my night in tears from the stories of the unsung heroes - they are so inspirational and was an honour to be in the same room."
