Ashley Cain's partner says watching daughter Azaylia suffer 'feels like torture'

Ashley Cain ’s partner Safiyya Vorajee has opened up about their heartache and says watching her daughter Azaylia suffer 'feels like torture'.

Little Azaylia is currently battling an aggressive form of leukemia she was diagnosed with when she was just eight-weeks-old.

Recently her parents were told by doctors that there wasn't much more they could do for her.

The nine-month-old tot has spent much of her life in and out of hospital and despite recently coming home, Azaylia was rushed back in last night to undergo an emergency transfusion after suffering nose bleeds.

Safiyya and Ashley have vowed to remain happy as possible for her little girl.

Speaking to her followers on Instagram, Safiyya said: "I just wake up in the morning and look at her and feel so blessed that every single morning I'm waking up with her and having her there to hold and to smile and to sing all our Jungle Book theme all day long."

"The amount of times we sing this to her is just mindblowing and I feel so happy that I can just spend today with her and play and just love her as much as I can and tell her how much I love her.

"It's absolutely heartbreaking, this feels like torture. It's so difficult and so hard and the support you guys are all giving us is amazing, it's incredible."

The 34-year-old urged other parents to always follow their "gut instinct" as "you know your child best."

"This stuff is so hard and so difficult but I’m going to make every day as happy, as fun as playful as possible for her," she added.

She and her 30-year-old boyfriend have continued to update fans on their daughter’s battle with leukaemia.

They had to take Azaylia to the hospital late last night to have an emergency platelet transfusion.

Ashley and Safiyya’s daughter was diagnosed with a very rare leukaemia when she was just two months old.

The couple have been fighting to save her life, and even raised more than £1 million for treatment in Singapore.

However, doctors, unfortunately, told Ashley and Safiyya that there isn't much more they can do for her.
