Ashley Cain's girlfriend 'so proud' of late daughter as Pride Of Birmingham shares tribute

Safiyya Vorajee has shared her pride for her late baby daughter Azaylia as Pride of Birmingham pays tribute to her.

Former footballer and Ex on the Beach star Ashley Cain and girlfriend Safiyya lost their beloved little girl to leukaemia on April 24 after medics could not longer treat her condition.

Now on Instagram, the official Pride of Britain account shared a video from Pride of Birmingham, captioning it with a message mirroring the video's which reads: "Dedicated with love to Azaylia Cain and to all those bravely fighting their own battles. [lion face emoji] #prideofbirmingham ".

The video includes an image of baby Azaylia and the date of her birth to the date of her tragic death.

Following the post, Azaylia's mother Safiyya shared the Pride of Britain post on her Instagram Stories.

Alongside the clip, Safiyya penned the emotional message: "Azaylia [applause emoji] I am forever proud of you, & the awareness you have made [red heart emoji] Pride of Britain [red heart emoji]".

She added: "You truly deserve this [angel face emoji]".

Numerous followers of the Pride of Britain account flooded the organisation's Instagram page with supportive comments to Azaylia and those like her.

Meanwhile, a different Instagram user commented: "Azaylia Diamond Cain, you my darling stole the hearts of the entire nation with your bravery, determination, fight, strength & beauty and a little girl who will forever be in our hearts".

The messages follow Safiyya's own tribute to her daughter after her heartbreaking death.

The mother wrote: 'You are my Angel my heartbeat my soul, RIP my precious baby, you will always be with me like a handprint on my heart".
