Ashley Cain's girlfriend Safiyya marks 6 weeks since Azaylia's death with heartbreaking post

Ashley Cain's girlfriend has marked six weeks since their baby daughter Azaylia tragically died.

Safiyya Vorajee took to her Instagram Stories on Saturday night to post a picture of her baby girl, who she said is in "paradise" now.

Azaylia passed away in April after a brave battle against a rare and aggressive form of leukaemia. She was just eight-months-old.

In Safiyya's post, baby Azaylia had a baby smile on her little face as she looked up at the camera from her hospital bed.

"6 weeks today you left to go to paradise baby," Safiyya captioned the post, adding an angel emoji.

"I miss you beautiful."

Then on Sunday Safiyya filmed herself visiting Azaylia's grave where she went to lay a bunch of fresh flowers.

She had written "Azaylia, my precious little girl" down the side of the wrapper.

Safiyya said from behind the camera: "Brought my baby some fresh flowers and put some lovely little words on there."

She then moved the camera around to show more of the grave, where lots of bunches of flowers had been left.

The grieving mum also lit a candle that she had left attached to the fence around the grave.

Earlier this week she filmed herself singing there as she sang the words to I Wanna Be Like You from The Jungle Book, which the couple used to sing to their baby, and If You're Happy and You Know It.

She told her followers: "She's so precious. I love her so, so much. My heart aches all the time when I leave from here."

Safiyya also spoke about her grief, admitting she has been struggling to carry on as normal.

She continued: "Here I am another day existing. That's what I kind of call it at the moment. I feel like I'm just existing in the world.

"I don't really feel like I've got much purpose at the moment. I've just got presence here in Earth.

"But I've got myself to the gym, popped into town, and I've just come down to my little baby. Can't find peace in my day and can't relax until I'm here with her."

Safiyya went on: "Even if I'm just sitting here. Just... don't really know at the moment. Don't know why I did a story, haven't got a lot to say. Feeling very, very numb. I miss my little girl."

She added: "I'm so, so proud of Azaylia for all of this that she's created.

"She's brought so many people together, she's spread so much awareness, and she's done it so gracefully and beautifully. She's so precious."
