Ashley Cain joined in as members of the public lit candles to honour his daughter's life on Thursday evening.
The tribute had been planned by followers of the Ex On The Beach star after his eight-month-old daughter lost her brave battle with leukaemia at the weekend.
Azaylia Diamond Cain's tragic death broke hearts across the world after her story had touched so many.
And Ashley, 30, posted a video of his lit candle to his Instagram story as he joined in with many other people who took part in the 8pm tribute.
The flame could be seen burning inside a red holder that had been placed in the middle of two of Azaylia's lion teddies.
Ashley wrote on the video: "Tonight we lit a candle in the chapel of rest to join others in lighting up the world in honour of my beautiful daughter Azaylia."

Azaylia's mum and Ashley's partner Safiyya Vorajee also posted her lit candle on her Instagram. She wrote: "Light the world Azaylia. I love you."
She included an orange heart emoji in the post - the colour that world landmarks including Niagara Falls were turned earlier in the month in another special tribute to the little girl.
Both Ashley and Safiyya, 34, have paid heartfelt tributes to their courageous little girl since her passing.
Ashley vowed to continue his daughter's legacy and thanked her for giving "life purpose, my face a smile, filled my heart with love and my soul with pride".

He emotionally added: "I promise you that your name with live on. I will carry your name across every ocean, along every road, to the top of every mountain and across the whole globe."
Safiyya said in her tribute: "I am so proud of you, every day I will carry you in my heart.
"I know you're looking down on me and all the lessons you've taught me I will keep that with me forever.
"Thank you for everything baby girl xxx."
Heartbroken followers, including famous faces such as Stacey Solomon also paid their respects to the little girl in a string of emotional tributes.
