Ashley Banjo's wife gives birth to their second child as they share adorable pic

Ashley Banjo and his wife Francesca have welcomed their second child.

The Dancing On Ice judge and Diversity star broke the news by posting a picture of himself and Francesca cradling their newborn on Instagram.

He wrote: "On Thursday the 26th March at 6.45pm our son came into the world weighing a healthy 8lbs 15oz. His name is Micah Grace Banjo...

"Our son, our little ray of light in a dark and uncertain time. @francescabanjo and I love him with the deepest part of our hearts."

Ashley's brother Jordan was one of the first to comment after the announcement was made this afternoon.

The former I'm A Celeb contestant - who won't be able to see his newest family member for a while - wrote: "Something incredible in these dark times bro❤️ So proud of you both! And of course already love my new little nephew."

Other celebs joining in the tributes included Strictly star Oti Mabuse who commented: "Congratulations to you and your whole family."

While Dame Kelly Holmes added: "Oh how wonderful congratulations," followed by a kiss emoji.

The new arrival for Banjo and his wife comes just over a year after they welcomed their first child together.

The couple's daughter Rose was born in February last year.

Banjo rose to fame as part of dance troupe Diversity, which won Britain's Got Talent in 2009.

He has since carved out a career on TV, and has been a judge on Sky dancing programme Got To Dance. In 2018 he joined Dancing On Ice as a judge.

Banjo has also hosted programmes including Channel 4 dating show Flirty Dancing, and BBC game show Can't Touch This.
