An NHS nurse has slammed customers queuing outside a fish and chip shop, for failing to follow the government's social distancing rules.
Prime Minister, Boris Johnson, declared that people should stay indoors and only leave their house for essential reasons.
According to Birmingham Live, an NHS Nurse shared a photo of people queuing down the street outside this fish and chip shop in Leeds.
On Twitter, she wrote: "Ashamed to be British right now. The amount of people out and about this evening is utterly shameful - hanging around in big groups, the lake in Roundhay busier than any normal weekend and a queue this size outside.
"What is it going to take for people to take this seriously? You’ll wish you listened to government advice when there’s no room in ICU for your grandma in a few weeks time! Please just stay indoors!"
Police now have the power to issue people with £30 fines if they leave their homes for non-essential reasons.
Brits must stay home and self-isolation and are only allowed to leave their house once a day for exercise.
Brits can leave their homes to shop for essential items, like food, or medicine from one of the handful of shops still open in the UK.
When Brits are out, they should maintain social distancing practices- or risk getting a hefty fine.
