The Asean Secretariat and Asean-related organisations in the Indonesian capital, Jakarta, are marking the royal cremation of the late King Bhumibol Adulyadej by flying Asean flags at half mast from Oct 25-27.

The Foreign Ministry said the permanent mission of Thailand to Asean reported that the Asean flag was being kept at half-staff during the cremation ceremonies as a mark of respect for the late King.

All Thai embassies, consulates and offices of permanent missions in all countries are also flying the Asean flag and Thai national flag at half mast from Oct 13 to Oct 29.
