Asda, Tesco and M&S recall chicken, chocolate, sausage rolls and more

UK supermarkets are recalling a number of products over safety fears.

The items are sold at stores including Asda, Tesco and Sainsbury's and shoppers are being urged to return the items as soon as possible for a full refund.

Product recalls are made by traders about products that have problems that could affect the safety of the consumer.

Along with allergy fears, some items have been incorrectly labelled.

The product should not be used and should be returned to the trader.

These are the items that have been recalled in the past month:

Asda

Asda is recalling Asda Maple Flavour Pork Belly Slices because it contains wheat (gluten) and soya which are not mentioned on the label.

This means the product is a possible health risk for anyone with an allergy or intolerance to wheat or gluten and/or an allergy to soya.

Tesco and Sainsbury's

JK Foods (UK) is recalling Flying Goose Sriracha Mayo Sauce because it contains mustard and soya which are not written in English in the ingredients list on the label.

This means the product is a possible health risk for anyone with an allergy to mustard and/or soya.

Lindt & Sprüngli (UK) Ltd is recalling Lindt LINDOR Salted Caramel Milk Chocolate 38g Bars because a small number of packs contain wheat (gluten) which is not mentioned on the label.

This means the product is a possible health risk for anyone with an allergy or intolerance to wheat or gluten.

Due to a packaging error, some packs contain Lindt HELLO Strawberry Cheesecake Bar.

M&S Sticky BBQ Wings and Chinese Style Wings (FSA)

Marks & Spencer is also recalling M&S 20 Cocktail Sausage Rolls due to incorrect date labelling. A small number of packs have been incorrectly labelled with a ‘use by’ date of 10 January 2022.
