Asda has bolstered security amid the Cadbury Creme Egg hunt in which shoppers could win up to £10,000.
The supermarket introduced a security guard just for the Cadbury Creme Eggs at a shop in Pudsey on Friday to prevent shoppers from taking a peek at the special eggs.
One Asda store in the UK has a rare half milk and half white chocolate egg in stock worth a sweet £10,000.
Cadbury has hidden a total of 146 of the special edition eggs at UK retailers since Boxing Day 2021.
A spokesperson at Asda said: "This is such an exciting competition and it's great to see our shoppers so excited about the prospect of finding a rare half-and-half egg."

They added: "It's all in good fun, but we're staying egg-stra vigilant around the Créme Egg displays to ensure everyone gets a fair crack at winning."
There are six of the eggs worth £10,000 with one stocked at Asda, Co-op, Tesco, Sainsbury’s, Morrisons and one independent retailer.
Following that, there are three eggs worth £5,000 up for grabs at Waitrose, One Stop and a Booker Shop.
Four lucky people could still get £1,000, whilst there are 12 eggs worth £500 and the rest of eggs are worth £50.
The only catch is that you must resist eating the lucky egg in order to collect the prize.
Winners will be asked a series of questions to verify the unique code on the egg, as well as where and when it was purchased.
