Supermarket giant Asda has made a major change impacting shoppers who are buying the Just Essential range.
As the cost of living crisis continues, Asda's new range, identifiable by the yellow packaging, has proven to be extremely popular, but the supermarket has now slapped a limit on how much customers can buy.
The temporary restriction has been enforced as Asda admits it has struggled to keep up with demand. The new range launched in May to replace its Smart Price budget offer.

The new limit means that customers can only buy a maximum of three items of each product but an Asda spokesperson has said the limit is only temporary.

He said: “Just Essentials is proving very popular with customers and we are working hard to improve availability across the range.
”To ensure as many customers as possible can buy these products, we are temporarily limiting purchases to a maximum of three of each product for a short period of time. We are sorry for any inconvenience this may cause.”
