Asda shoppers seriously impressed by hidden detail in new George kids shoes

Asda has been praised by shoppers after dropping a brand new pair of kids' shoes through its popular George brand.

Parents have been left seriously impressed and kids are obsessed with the styles.

The supermarket's new shoes come in Frozen, Batman or Spiderman designs, with a toy in the heel which can be removed.

Shoppers are comparing them to a 1990s craze and posting about the shoes, which have a price tag of £20, on social media, reports Birmingham Live.

Sharing her buy on the Facebook group Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK, one mum asked: "Does anyone remember the Lelly kelly shoes with the doll at the bottom from years and years ago?

"Just found these in Asda my twins are obsessed £20. Edit- might have been Clark’s not Lelly Kelly."

In the comments, one Facebook user said: "Clark's magic keys. Key in the bottom of shoe and you got a key badge too! I'm 35 in a fortnight so that’s going back some years haha!

"Best shoes ever!"

Another wrote: "Lovely shoes, every kids dream and every teachers nightmare."

While a third wrote: "They were called magic steps from Clark’s and they had a key, if you lost the key you were screwed unless you had a friend who also had a pair.

"I always used to have them."
