Asda shoppers praise 'lush' treat that 'tastes like Tango Ice Blast'

An Asda shopper has praised a frozen treat sold by the supermarket, stating that it "tastes like Tango Ice Blast".

The retailer sells boxes of six Sour Fusion Lollies for £1.10. The box refers to the frozen dessert as "sour swirls of cherry, lemon and cola flavour lollies".

Tango Ice Blasts are a popular frozen drink that comes in flavours such as Cherry or Blue Raspberry. The frozen slush is a popular cinema treat for thirsty moviegoers.

As anyone who has picked up the delicious drink will know, it is priced at around £5 for a cup. With the cost of living crisis continuing to worsen, shoppers are looking for ways to cut back on costs.

According to the Asda customer who spotted the Sour Fusion Lollies in their local supermarket, the £1.10 lollies offer a cheaper alternative for those craving the taste of a Tango Ice Blasts.

Writing on the Food Finds UK Facebook group, they said: "Asda! Absolutely banging. Taste like Tango Ice Blast!"

It wasn't long before the post had racked up over 320 likes and more than 350 comments. Asda shoppers and Tango Ice Blast fans alike were keen to share their thoughts on the product.

"They look lush," one wrote, while a second echoed: "They look nice".

A second revealed: "Oh i defo want these."

The colourful lollies include a range of flavours (Food Finds UK)

"I need," posted a third, while a fourth stated: "Asda here we come".

"These would look great in your freezer," wrote a fifth after tagging another user.
