People who shop at ASDA have been hit with a police warning over using trolleys.
It comes after stores started to run out of trolleys because of shoppers taking them home.
The latest supermarket to be hit by trolley theft is in Runcorn.
Halton Lea Police took to Facebook this afternoon (December 17) to make the claim that Asda in Runcorn had 'run out of trolleys'.

"Unfortunately customers take them home or elsewhere.
"Please can you help by adding the Trolley wise app and uploading them so the relevant stores can go and collect them."
A spokesperson for Asda responded by saying whilst it 'isn't a large number of trolleys' that have gone missing, the company are aware that that on busier days it can be 'frustrating' when a trolley isn’t available immediately.
The company has asked customers who spot a missing trolley to let them know via telephone or downloading an app so the trolley can be located as soon as possible.
A spokesperson for Asda said: "Whilst we know that the majority of our customers look after our trolleys, if anyone happens to spot one anywhere it shouldn’t be they can let us know by calling 0800 0933 350 or by downloading the Collex App so the trolley can be collected as soon as possible."
