Asda shoppers hail supermarket's 40p pizza tip that rivals takeaway favourites

The cost of living crisis has seen many bills rise with people now trying to cut back on as much as they can.

And while it's great to budget, it's also nice to have the occasional treat such as a takeaway on a Friday or Saturday night - usually when people don't have work the next day.

But this can easily add up, especially if there's a lot of people ordering their favourite pizza, for example.

But it seems that Asda shoppers have found the perfect pizza for everyone to enjoy - and it's pretty affordable costing just 40p.

As noted by MEN, for just 40p, customers can get their custom made pizza cooked at their local ASDA pizza counter to take away in just under two minutes.

ASDA's freshly prepared pizzas are just a fraction of the cost of the UK's big name takeaways, with prices ranging from as little as £3.50.

People love it so much that they're opting to visit the store for their next pizza feast rather than ordering at some of the big chains.

The British supermarket chain shared the “ultimate hack” on their TikTok channel in a video that has gained over 1.1 million views. ASDA has since called on shoppers to try out their fresh pizzas with a wide range of toppings, which customers have hailed as better than Domino’s.

Viewers reacting to the video that has garnered over 40k likes, have said that pizzas from ASDA are “an under appreciated gem.”

One viewer said it was “the best news I've heard all year “ while another commented, “ASDA pizzas are genuinely really good and affordable, finally [you] can have it cooked in-store.”

Another commenter said: “ASDA, get some mopeds/delivery drivers and do home delivery and you would blow Domino's out the water! One of the best pizzas out there!”
