Asda shoppers are showing off the huge hauls of food they are getting their hands on for knock-down prices at the supermarket - but you'll need to be quick.
Customers have said the store is slashing prices on a range of its frozen food "due to a packaging change" which has seen some items reduced to as little as 15p.
One member of the Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK group Facebook page shared a picture of the items she bought to stock up her freezer, including nine bags of beef strips, two bags of chicken drumsticks and four bags of mince - with the receipts showing a total charge of just over £1 after further discounts.
She wrote: "Not sure how or why but got all this for just £1.05 altogether. The more freezer meat I bought the more discount I got."
Another customer added a photo of their own bargain finds, including chicken drumsticks for 25p, cheese pizzas for 30p, and a box of burger and chips for 35p.
She wrote: "Asda have reduced absolutely loads of freezer food really cheap, this is just the stuff I got but there was a load of things I didn’t get and stuff that had sold out.
"Just in their normal places, the woman who worked there said it’s due to a packaging change and a big change that's happening since being taken over. This is all Asdas but mine is from Asda Gosforth, Newcastle."
Other shoppers commented to say they had spotted similar bargains online too.
One member of the group wrote: "Thats a great find! Great to grab it all when its that cheap so you can stock up, especially if you've got constant hungry little gremlins haha."
