The variation in the number of pizza toppings is one of the things we love about them but some choices have been known to inspire repulsion.
Much like pineapple on a pizza the latest release from Asda has some customers outraged and taking to Facebook to complain.
The topping that is up for debate is gravy and it comes with Asda’s Southern Fried Chicken and Gravy pizza.
A post on NewFoodsUK shared the news with shoppers and hundreds of people have commented- one shopper ever said it was an 'abomination'.
However, others have said that the addition of gravy to a pizza is actually quite nice.
The pizza is part of Asda’s £5 pizza deal, which means you can bag dinner for two and a movie as the deal includes two medium pizza from the counter, a soft drink and a Sky Movie voucher or a free adult Vue Cinema ticket.
According to the ECHO another shopper said that they 'don't fancy it' and that the idea of having it for dinner was 'revolting'.
One shopper said: “Gravy and pizza NNNNOOOOO!” and a second wrote: “Gravy on a pizza just wrong”.
A third said: “No gravy on a pizza is wrong”.
A fourth shopper added: “How revolting is that” and a fifth said: "This sounds awful"
A sixth wrote: “Look at this actual abomination”.
Another shopper said the pizza had left them feeling 'physically sick'.
On the other side of the argument some shoppers said it tasted good.
"We taste-tested it in work and it was surprisingly nice." said an Asda worker.
"Sounds great to me !!" said another.
"Yummy" said someone else.
The Southern Fried Chicken and Gravy pizza is available now at Asda.
