Asda's new opening times mean immediate change to how customers shop

Supermarket giant Asda has taken to its Instagram to share its updated hours with its customers.

The changes, which are with immediate effect, will now give shoppers more time to pick up essentials and hopefully will mean less time queuing.

It will means Asda stores are open from 8am-10pm, giving customers an extra two hours to shop. It also follows Aldi and Morrisons who have also extended store opening times.

From now on, stores will be open Monday-Saturday 8am-10pm and on Sunday usual trading hours will apply.

This means, customers no longer need to rush to stores first thing in the morning and instead will have more time throughout the day which Asda is hoping will mean short waiting times for customers to get inside.

It is also worth noting that due to this Friday, May 8 being a bank holiday - Asda stores will have altered opening times for this day only.

Aldi stores will be open from 8am-8pm on Friday, May 8. This include stores in Bootle, Netherton, Aigburth and Old Swan.
