The caterpillar cake has been a birthday classic for more than 30 years.
Asda, which already sells the popular Clyde the caterpillar cake, have now released a new one that is shaped to look like an adorable little guinea pig.
Asda describes Ginny The Guinea Pig as "the cutest little party companion - soft Madeira sponge layered with fruity raspberry jam and frosting, finished with sweet edible decorations".
And judging by the reaction on it's Facebook page, it's got a lot of love from shoppers - with more than 13,000 likes and 4,500 shares.
One person said: “This is much cuter than a caterpillar.”
However, others have pondered whether the cake is too cute for its own good.
"I love it but imagine the trauma of taking a knife to it, especially at a kids birthday party," remarked one mum.
Another parent added: "How to freak out every child who has had a guinea pig, ever."
And one shopper commented: "Lovely but we had tears when cutting Colin the caterpillar up it will be a full melt down with a guinea pig.”
Ginny the Guinea Pig cakes are now available in ASDA stores and online and cost £10 each.
