Shoppers all across the country will be heading to supermarket giant Asda on New Year's Day, but before you finally get out of the pyjamas and leave your warm house, make sure you double check your local Asda is actually open.
As it's a Bank Holiday, UK supermarkets including Asda will be operating at reduced opening hours compared to normal.
The retailer has a string of deals on healthy food for those starting their year with some extra vegetables on their plate, as well as bargains on essentials, for anyone whose resolution is to save some money.
The January sales have also started at Asda stores across the country, including in their clothing and homewares branch George.

- 1 January 2020 (New Year's Day) - Most Asda stores will be open from 10am until 5pm.
- 2 January - Asda will resume its normal opening hours.
