Asda has become the latest supermarket giant to enter the food box market with a new hamper containing 31 essential items.
Each box includes a combination of comfort foods and day-to-day items such as bread and milk, to help vulnerable people access food during the pandemic.
It follows Aldi, Marks & Spencer and Morrisons, who have all launched packages to help speed up online deliveries during the crisis.
Available now online, each box contains 31 store cupboard staples for £30, including delivery.
Asda said the hampers will contain its biggest sellers over the past month, including cereal, bread, pasta, tinned fruit and vegetables, sauces, condiments, teabags and long-life milk.
The food box is available to all, but Asda hopes it will help those most vulnerable who are struggling to get to the supermarket, or those who are self-isolating.
It comes as vulnerable shoppers have warned they are still struggling to access online delivery slots.
The boxes will be delivered directly to the customer's doorstep within two days - with all deliveries made by a third-party provider to reduce any additional pressure on Asda's home delivery teams.
Mike Snell, at Asda, said: "For vulnerable people across the country, staying at home and not being able to make a trip to the supermarket is a difficult prospect.
"At Asda, we’re committed to helping ease the strain on our customers during this time and hope that by offering our food box at an affordable price, we can help to make lives that little bit easier, giving people peace of mind that their cupboards will be well stocked without the stress."
Asda's food boxes are now are available to order at foodboxes.asda.com for £30 each.
What other food boxes are there?

Morrisons became the first supermarket to launch the initiative in March, offering a £30 hamper with enough food and essentials to last two people one week.
The grocer has since expanded its options, which now include ready-meal packages and family meat boxes.
High street chain Marks & Spencer followed suit, with a £35 bundle, which includes a combination of comfort foods and household items.
Aldi also offers an option, though it sold out in record time after the grocer launched online food deliveries for the first time ever in April.
When in stock, the parcels contain 22 essential products, including tinned soup, rice and pasta and are priced at £24.99 including delivery.
Each food box also includes antibacterial hand wash and a four-pack of toilet roll.
