Asda launches huge sale with Barbie dolls for £2.50 and parents can't believe it

Supermarket giant Asda has caused much excitement among parents this week after selected stores started selling Barbie dolls for £2.50.

The deal was shared into a Facebook bargains group by one parent and it has since led to thousands of shoppers searching their local Asda stores trying to snap up the deal.

According to the post, the parent managed to get hold of Barbie Dentist, Chicken Farmer and Art Teacher dolls for £2.50 instead of £22.50 which they are priced at in Smyths toy stores.

It is not clear which Asda stores are running the offer, but stock will no doubt be limited so it is always worth checking with your local store before you visit.

Among the comments, one user tagged a friend and said: "Pretty please if you go to an Asda can you check for me"
