Asda launches big Christmas toy sale amid stock shortages concern

As the warnings about food shortages and now toy shortages for Christmas increase, many people are considering starting their Christmas shopping now.

There are predictions of toy shortages due to a shortage of lorry drivers within the UK and Covid restrictions in the countries where the toys are made such as China.

To help parents with this early Christmas shopping buying popular supermarket Asda has launched their Big Toy Rollback, well ahead of Christmas.

Reducing the prices of many of their best-selling toys and well-loved brands such as Disney, Paw Patrol, and Lego the supermarket is running this offer online and in-store.

The offer will end on Sunday, September 26, and on the website, you can shop by age or brand to help you navigate the 150 plus toys that are available online.

There are more offers available in stores meaning shoppers can start Christmas shopping early during their weekly shop and many of the offers have price reductions of ten pounds or more.

You can get nearly £10 off Lego sets, £10 off a wooden dollhouse and wooden kitchen, and £10 off Playmobil toys.

Other deals include nearly £14 off a Peppa Pig dressing table, over £6 off Toot-Toot Drivers toys, and £18 off Fisher-Price products.

There are currently also many warnings for food shortages at Christmas including pigs in blankets, prosecco and wine , and brussel sprouts.

Asda's Big Toy RollBack is on now and will end Sunday September 26.
