Supermarket giant Asda has released a new range of shimmering gins that will bring back memories of classic sweets from your childhood days.
The new sweet shop-inspired flavours include strawberry laces, cola cubes and rhubarb and custard to give your taste buds a real treat.
Priced at £18 each, the 70cl bottles can be found in stores from today (June 22). Each 'Extra Special' gin has a 40% alcohol by volume (ABV) percentage and pairs wonderfully with tonic water or lemonade for an ultimate summer tipple.
Even better, the drinks are infused with glitter to make for a shimmery G&T.
But this isn't the first time Asda has launched a selection of gins inspired by popular traditional sweets.
Back in 2019, the supermarket released pear drop, lemon sherbet and parma violet gins that were a hit with shoppers across the country.
Marion Muir, Sprits Product Development Manager at Asda said: "Novelty gins have become a summer essential for our customers who love to try innovative and wonderful flavours.
"The new range has been created to ensure the gins are both delicious to drink yet also dazzling to look at, delivering popular flavours we know the nation loves, and at a great price point too."
