Asda launch limited edition black Fanta - just in time for Halloween

Whilst Fanta Fruit Twist reminds us of our childhood, and Fanta Lemon makes us reminisce about being on holiday, there's now a new edition of the famous fizzy drink - and we've never seen anything quite like it.

Just in time for Halloween , Fanta has decided to launch a brand new version of its famous drink called Fanta Dark Orange.

As instead of its usual vibrant orange colour, Blood Orange flavour Fanta has been transformed to become jet black to create the scariest Fanta ever.

Still keeping the same blood orange taste as usual, the spooky, limited edition bottles of jet black drink also feature a Fanta werewolf, which has been created as part of a collaboration with renowned artist, Noma Bar for the unique bottles.

And tdespite only being available for a month, the jet black version won't cost anymore than usual, still setting you back £1.25 for the two litre bottle - and already for sale on the Asda website.

The new jet black bottles will be available in both 500ml and two litre bottles for a limited time in September, and will also be available across stores nationwide in the next few weeks.

Dee Woolcott, Senior Brand Manager for Fanta Great Britain, said: “Halloween is a huge moment in the year and to celebrate, we wanted to launch a new, fun version of Fanta that is delicious, but with a scary twist. So, the only question is – dare you taste the dark?”
