Asda just made a major change to make it easier for customers in store

Asda has announced it's launching their Scan and Go mobile to all stores in the UK to make it easier for customers to use their checkouts.

As part of its ongoing pledge to keep customers and colleagues safe the major supermarket launched the extension of the service on April 22.

The Scan and Go system will enable customers keep a track of what they're spending as the go.

To use the service, customers can simply download the app, and register their details to get started.

All they have to do is scan and bag the items as they shop, using the dedicated Scan and Go Mobile app and breeze through the dedicated card checkouts.

In an announcement on social media, Asda said: "To further support our social distancing measures in our stores and help you to shop contact free, we are pleased to announce that we have extended Scan and Go mobile to all stores.

"To use, simply download the app, and register your details to get started. Then bring your mobile to store and use the app to scan and pack items as you shop.

"There is no need to unpack and repack at checkout, and you can also keep a track of what you’re spending as you go."
