Asda is selling unicorn squares for £1 - and kids will love them

If like the rest of the nation's little ones your child is also unicorn obsessed, snack time is about to get a lot more exciting.

As Asda has just started stocking a brand new edition of its famous Rice Krispies squares - and they're unicorn flavoured.

Combining the same chewy yet crunchy marshmallowy taste of the normal Squares bars, to make things more appealing to kids Kellogg's has then added tiny, pink and purple pastel unicorns to the top of the bar.

Already in Asda stores all across the country, a pack of four unicorn creations bars will usually set you back £1.99, but as an introductory offer they've been slashed to £1 per pack, which works out at 25p a bar.

If your child isn't into their unicorns and they'd prefer another magical, mythical creature instead, Asda also has a dragon version too.

There's a dragon version too (Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK)

Originally spotted on Facebook page Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK, news of the new cereal bars has sparked a lot of excitement online.

One user named Dorna Watts said "My daughter will love these" while Annette Dorman said "My daughter found them in Asda today... I had to buy them! She kept saying mummy these are sooooo good".

There's no word on whether the new unicorn version of the treats is here to stay or whether it's a one-off limited edition, but we'll update this article as soon as we know.
