Asda is selling a UNICORN spread and it has popping candy inside

If you're looking for the most 'extra' food in the world then Asda has the product for you.

The supermarket is selling a unicorn-themed spread which costs £1.50 and tastes of raspberry.

The spread was spotted and posted online in the Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK group on Facebook.

According to Birmingham Live , its new spread is made from a combination of sugar, oil, cocoa butter, flavouring, colouring, as well as milk and buttermilk powder.

A 15g serving contains 86 calories and 8.1g of sugar - roughly two teaspoons.

One fan wrote: “The popping candy makes it sound good but not sure about raspberry spread?”

Another said: “I have got to try this! I know it’s full of sugar, but I’m guessing a little goes a long way.”

Others weren’t convinced.

One fumed: “Sorry this is just full of sugar. Not a good thing. Really bad for your children. Think of their hearts.”

Asda has 645 stores across the UK.
