Asda is selling a new Guinness chocolate cake for £11 and it looks delicious

A new Guinness chocolate cake is launching at Asda supermarkets across the UK this month.

Flavoured with the iconic Irish dry stout, it is priced at £11 and will be available to buy in-stores from October 15th.

If you want to make sure you get your hands on one, check for your nearest Asda supermarket using the store locator tool online.

Sweet-toothed shoppers are treated to four moist sponge layers are sandwiched together with decadent chocolate frosting.

The grown-up treat is then finished with cream cheese topping, which is designed to resemble the froth on a pint.

At 318 calories per slice, each cake provides 10 servings - making it ideal for parties or gatherings. It really is a treat for the eyes.

The Guinness chocolate cake is created by Finsbury Food Group, which commented: “Our team of cake experts have ensured the cake is beautifully finished with a creamy topping that replicates the dark and light mix seen on an iconic pint of Guinness so the new cake will make a stunning centrepiece on any dining table.”
