Birthday cakes are getting even more and more creative.
From cakes that look like human hands, to extravagant tier cakes made with sparkles and all the buttercream you could wish for.
There's no getting away from the over-the-top cake trends.
But Asda's latest release may be a step too far.
The supermarket has released a cake that looks like a bucket of fried chicken.
While it might look savoury, the Birthday Bucket Cake is made with soft Madeira sponge layered with jam and frosting.
The £12 treat is coated in biscuit crumbs and topped with a drizzle of raspberry sauce, which is meant to look like ketchup.
The product description reads: "Chick out this soft Madeira sponge layered with jam, covered with frosting, coated in a speculoos biscuit crumb, topped with 'nuggets' and finished with a drizzle of raspberry jam."
Pictures of the new cake were posted on the popular Money Saver Online Facebook page.
The post has had more than 1,400 comments from fans - and the reviews are pretty mixed.
One fan wrote: "I can’t help but think that if you were a chicken lover a cake pretending to be chicken wouldn’t make you happy. Id just want the chicken."
While another said: "That looks clucking delicious!"
"This hurts my head. Looks like chicken but tastes like cake," one skeptical shopper commented.
"That looks amazing!" another said.
