The nights have only just started growing darker and some supermarkets are already getting ready for the festive season - no not Halloween, we mean Christmas.
While it may be just shy of four months away, this has not stopped Asda from stacking their shelves with a traditional Christmas dessert.
Birmingham Live reports that eagle-eyed shoppers across the country have spotted mince pies.
While some are thrilled at the thought of Christmas treats, others feel it is just too soon.
The NewFoodsUK Instagram page shared a photo of the mince pies in an Asda store - and it has divided opinion.
While one person commented “I wouldn’t say no” another said "Oh dear. Really?".
Elsewhere, others have taken to social media to share their thoughts on the topic, which is proving controversial.
Twitter user @daftmartian said: "Went into Asda this morning to pick up a few bits, they are selling mince pies already!"
While Abbie said: "Sos they’re selling Mince Pies in Asda... Christmas is here."
Kirby took to Twitter to say: "Why on earth have I just seen Mince Pies being sold in Asda in AUGUST."
