A 58-year-old man has died in an "industrial incident" after reportedly falling from scaffolding at an Asda.
Emergency services were called to the supermarket in Peterhead, Scotland, at 12.30pm to assist an injured man.
Sadly, despite the efforts of those at the scene, the man - believed to be a workman - was pronounced dead a short time later.
Construction work has been ongoing at the site where a new extension is being built, reports the Daily Record.
Eyewitnesses spoke of “screams and shouts” and loads of workmen “running in all directions”.
One woman claimed a builder was knocked off the scaffolding and colleagues were trying to resuscitate him before an ambulance arrived.

A mum said on Facebook: “I hope he is okay, it was awful. Me and my kids saw it happen - praying for him.”
Police sealed off the area with no pedestrian or vehicle access to the Asda store, which was evacuated.
Members of the public were also asked to avoid the area.
An Asda spokesman said the company was aware of an incident but had no further details.
Shire North Police said in a statement: "We can confirm that a man, 58, has sadly died following an industrial incident in Peterhead.
