Asda customers in stitches after spotting awkward placement of product sign

Asda customers have been left in stitches after a sexual health sign was spotted in a local store – looking very out of place.

One eagle-eyed customer snapped a picture of the 'sexual wellbeing' sign – which wasn't located near the sort of products you might assume.

Instead of contraception and other sexual wellness products, the sign was located above rows of Deep Heat, Deep Freeze and other soothing gels, creams and painkillers.

The post, which was uploaded to Reddit and captioned: "ASDAs trying to spice things up," has racked up nearly 500 likes. The anonymous user also joked: "My local ASDA manager seems to have got a brave sexual kink!"

People were left giggling and amused by the hilarious mishap, with many flocking to the comment section to make fun of the situation.

One person joked: "Well to be fair, spraying deep heat on or around the bits does decrease the likelihood of STDs, given that you will be too busy hopping around to be in the mood for horizontal times."

Another added: "Giving 'Deep Heat' another meaning."

A second commented: "I once made the mistake when grabbing haemorrhoid cream out of the cabinet without putting my glasses on. You could hear the scream for miles. Luckily I had some ice lollies in the freezer."

"Am going to go for the combination of Tiger Balm and Deep Freeze," quipped another.

While a fifth added: "Didn't know you could use deep heat down there."

Asda has been contacted for comment regarding the sign.

This comes as customers slammed Tesco for accidentally misspelling the name of an English town on a store sign.

The store in Hastings, East Sussex, misplaced an apostrophe in the town's name – much to the disgust of some locals.

Elsewhere, Tesco shoppers were in stitches over an awkward Welsh translation blunder on a store sign.

The supermarket chain has since apologised for the sign after customers pointed out that they had used the name for squash the sports game, instead of the drink.
