Asda apologises as video shows lorry driving on M1 narrowly miss vehicle near Nottingham

Asda bosses have apologised after a video appeared to show one of its lorry drivers swerving on the M1 motorway and narrowly missing a vehicle.

A clip posted on Twitter shows the lorry driving on the right-hand side of the motorway at junction 25, before merging into the middle lane.

A vehicle driving in the middle lane behind the lorry appears to then narrowly miss a collision.

The video was sent to Asda in a Tweet on Wednesday (July 22), which read: "This was m1 today junction 25. I'll be contacting the police."

In reply, Asda Tweeted: "So sorry to see this!

"Please could you DM us with the reg number if you managed to catch it and then we'll be able to look into this further."
