Asda and Poundland are selling Lotus biscuits smothered in Belgian chocolate

If you like Lotus biscuits, there's a new version that you simply must try.

A new offering of the caramelised biscuit is now on the market, and it's topped with a thick layer of Belgian chocolate.

The new treats are available to buy from Asda and Poundland.

Poundland is selling them in packs of seven, with each packet containing three biscuits – meaning you'll get 21 Lotus Biscoff treats for £1.

Elsewhere, Asda and Sainsbury’s are selling them for £1 as a promo offer, the Mirror reports .

Asda typically sells them for £1.49, while Sainsbury's normally charges £1.25 for each pack.

Annoyingly you can't buy them from Asda, Sainsbury's or Poundland online, so will have to head down to your nearest store.

The original Lotus biscuits are popular for their caramel taste and go perfectly with a steaming cuppa.

Want to buy some online? Waitrose  is offering packs of seven for only £1 on their website.

Or if you really want to stock up, Amazon  sells a box of 300 for £8.95. Bargain.
