
Ozeki Asanoyama took down No. 2 maegashira Hokutofuji on Wednesday, securing his first win at the Autumn Grand Sumo Tournament at Tokyo's Ryogoku Kokugikan.
Ozeki Takakeisho avoided back-to-back losses by pushing No. 2 maegashira Tamawashi out of the ring, while sekiwake Shodai lost for the first time at the tournament, defeated by No. 1 maegashira Terunofuji.
Sekiwake Mitakeumi suffered a second consecutive loss as he was forced out by komusubi Okinoumi. Sekiwake Daieisho lost for the third time when No. 1 maegashira Takanosho pushed him out.
As of Wednesday, the only wrestlers still undefeated were No. 9 maegashira Onosho and No. 14 maegashira Tobizaru.
