'As far as I know' - Allan gives update on Everton future amid transfer rumours

Allan believes that he will remain at Everton next season despite rumours that he could be set for a move away from the club.

The Brazilian has been a regular fixture in the Everton midfield since making the transfer to Goodison Park from Napoli in the summer of 2020. However, with the 31-year-old entering the last year of his current deal with the Blues in 2022/23, rumours have begin that he could be set to leave.

In recent weeks, a return to Italy has been mooted with reports suggesting that Lazio would be interested in a swoop. However, speaking to Italian media recently, he has suggested that he in fact believes he will be staying with the Blues.

"As far as I know, I’m fine in England."

Everton are set to have a revamp of their squad over the course of the summer with Frank Lampard and Kevin Thelwell tasked with beginning a rebuild. Allan has made 57 appearances in all competitions for the Blues since his move in the summer of 2020.
