Arya Stark's kill list: Everyone Game of Thrones' deadly assassin has targeted so far

The dramatic third episode of Game of Thrones season eight saw Arya Stark (Maisie Williams) take centre stage as she pulled off her biggest kill to date.

The younger Stark sister was hailed a “true Queen” by fans after she slaughtered the Night King during the epic Battle of Winterfell, using her trusty Valyrian steel sword.

Having trained as an assassin in past seasons, Arya has become known for avenging those who have wronged her, declaring her intent in a 'kill list.'

Here is everyone who was or still is on the list - and their current status.

  1. Cersei Lannister: ALIVE
Cersei Lannister: ALIVE (HBO )

Cersei is perhaps the most obvious of the lot with HBO’s episode four teaser hinting at her fate in the finale.

She earned her place on Arya’s infamous list after she played her part in her father Ned Stark’s death which naturally put the pair on not-so-great terms.

Better sleep with one eye open, Cersei.

  1. Tywin Lannister: DEAD
Tywin Lannister: DEAD (HBO)

Tywin gave the young Stark even more reason to hunt for Lannister blood after he curated the Red Wedding, the massacre which saw the demise of Arya’s mother Catelyn Stark and brother Robb Stark.

He was however shot by his own son Tyrion with a crossbow whilst he sat on the toilet, so that’s another one for Arya not to have to worry about.

  1. Walder Frey: DEAD
Walder Frey: DEAD (HBO)

Walder met his bitter end after he played a role in the deaths of her mother and brother by carrying out Tywin’s Red Wedding plan.

It was lights out for Walter after Arya ended his life in the series seven opener.

  1. Ser Ilyn Payne: ALIVE

Ser Payne wielded the sword that killed Arya’s father Ned Stark back in season one, giving her a good motive to go after the executioner.

  1. King Joffrey Baratheon: DEAD
King Joffrey Baratheon: DEAD (HBO)

King Baratheon ordered the deaths of Ned Stark and the butcher’s boy Mycah back in season one.

But before Arya could get to him karma had its way in the form of Olenna Tyrel, who poisoned him first.

  1. The Hound: ALIVE
The Hound: ALIVE (HBO)

The Hound, also known as Sandor Clegane, found himself on Arya’s kill list after he killed Mycah.

  1. Beric Dondarrion: ALIVE
Beric Dondarrion: ALIVE (HBO)

Beric landed himself a place on the kill list after he sold blacksmith Gendry to Red Priestess Melisandre.

If Arya’s recent romantic rendezvous with Gendry is anything to go by she has more reason than ever to finish off Beric.

  1. Melisandre: ALIVE
Melisandre: ALIVE (HBO)

Following on from the last entry, Melisandre is a natural addition to the list after she took Gendry away to practice blood leech magic.

  1. Meryn Trant: DEAD
Meryn Trant: DEAD (HBO)

Meryn was taken out by Arya herself after he killed he sword-master and trainer Syrio Forel.

In a savage murder Arya stabbed Meryn in the eyes as part of her vicious attack.

  1. Thoros of Myr: DEAD
Thoros of Myr: DEAD (HBO)

Thoros of Myr was added to the list for his role in helping to sell Gendry but he met his own brutal end at the hands of a zombie polar bear.

  1. Polliver: DEAD

Polliver was added to the list after he killed Arya’s friend Lommy and threatened to rape her.

She later took him out during a fight as part of her travels with The Hound.

  1. Rorge: DEAD

Rorge also played a role alongside Polliver and was subsequently taken out in a similar fashion.

  1. The Mountain: ALIVE (sort of)

The Mountain led the senseless tortures at Harrenhal but is assumed to still be alive.
