In response, Panwar released a clarification video, denying all allegations of dowry. He described the claims as “absurd,” stating that it was unlikely for him to demand dowry, especially given his wife’s professional background. Tithi also addressed the controversy, explaining that the money was part of a religious ritual. According to her, it was not “dahej” (dowry) but “daan” (a voluntary offering) given during a pooja ceremony. She further claimed that Panwar himself was unaware of the gift beforehand.
