Artist transforms attic into Rangers' Ibrox Stadium mural leaving football fans impressed

Scottish football fans have been left impressed after an artist transformed an attic into a stunning replica of Ibrox Stadium.

Mural artist Danny Bench has created an incredible likeness of the Rangers stadium inside a home in the village of Howe Green in Chelmsford.

Danny, from London, was employed to turn the dingy roof space into the home of the Glasgow giants - which has recently been voted as the best stadium in Britain by fourfourtwo.com.

The artist took four days to complete the colourful task and has posted amazing before and after pictures on his social media sites.

Footie fans north of the border have also taken to social media to praise Danny's "incredible" job in recreating the four massive stands usually only seen in the west of Glasgow.

Victoria Rangers posted: "That is absolutely stunning." David Anderson said: "How much for this job? I need this in my life. Truly incredible mate."

And Union of Rangers simply added: "Blue grass please."

Earlier this month, Rangers unveiled a £6million plan to upgrade disabled facilities and increase the overall capacity at Ibrox.

The upgrades could begin as soon as the summer but would require the club’s squad of financial backers to pick up the tab.
