Arthurlie part ways with manager Duncan Sinclair after derby loss to Renfrew

Manager Duncan Sinclair has left Championship outfit Arthurlie.

Despite sitting sixth in the table, ‘Lie were edged out in an entertaining derby clash with Renfrew at Dunterlie Park on Saturday.

After suffering a woeful run of form earlier in the season, Sinclair has now left the club by mutual consent.

A club statement said: “The club would like to take this opportunity to thank Dunky, Tam and Jamie for all the hard work they put in during their time at the club and we wish them all the very best in the future.”

The club have moved swiftly to appoint former players Craig Palmer and Ryan McArdle, who played for the club’s West of Scotland Cup-winning side in 2015, as well as Robert Kerr and George Fotheringham to a new four-man management
team.

More information on what roles each will carry out going forward are expected later this week.
