The emergency services have been called to an ongoing incident at Arthur's Seat this morning.
An Edinburgh Live reporter at the scene witnessed an ambulance, police and three fire engines heading up towards the crags.
There is also said to be park rangers racing to the ongoing emergency.
The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service told Edinburgh Live that a number of resources were on the scene, and had attended on Tuesday morning at the request of Police Scotland.
