  • British wildcard Arthur Fery, ranked 114th, was defeated by second seed Alexander Zverev in the Wimbledon semi-finals , concluding his remarkable run at the tournament.
  • Alexander Zverev secured his place in his first Wimbledon final by overcoming Fery with a score of 7-6 (0), 6-2, 6-4 in a match lasting two hours and 14 minutes.
  • Despite a competitive opening set, Fery was ultimately overpowered by Zverev, who capitalised on his opponent's errors and maintained a dominant serve throughout the match.
  • Zverev will now advance to face the winner of the other men's semi-final, which features Novak Djokovic against defending champion and world No 1 Jannik Sinner.
  • Novak Djokovic, who is pursuing a record 25th Grand Slam title, will play Jannik Sinner in a highly anticipated match, following Djokovic's recent five-hour quarter-final victory and their previous encounters at the Australian Open and last year's Wimbledon.
