Arthur Fery booked his place in the Wimbledon semi-finals by beating Italy’s Flavio Cobolli in straight sets on Wednesday.
Fery, 23, delivered a stunning display in front of Queen Camilla as he sealed a 6-4, 7-6, 6-0 win over a man who reached the French Open final last month.
Fery, who was handed a wildcard into the tournament, is set to have the Centre Court crowd behind him when he returns for his semi-final on Friday afternoon.
He has a tough task ahead of him as he will play French Open champion and No 2 seed Alexander Zverev for a place in the final.
Zverev secured his place in the last four with an impressive 6-4, 6-4, 6-2 win over sixth seed Taylor Fritz.
