The Falcons are 1-6 after Sunday’s loss to the Rams, but apparently that won’t be enough for team owner Arthur Blank to fire head coach Dan Quinn, per Jeff Schultz of The Athletic.
As Schultz goes on to say, it’s unlikely that Quinn can do anything to save his job at this point other than running the table.
We all know that’s not going to happen, especially with the news of Matt Ryan wearing a walking boot on his foot after suffering an ankle injury in the fourth quarter.
Things can’t get much worse. But for now, it appears Blank is content to wait until the end of the season to make what looks like a necessary head-coaching change for Atlanta.
